Volunteers are vital to the success of our schools. We welcome all parents and community members who would like to serve as a mentor or volunteer. Mentoring is a great way to contribute to the life of a child, a way to become engaged in making a difference, and impact the community in a positive light.
The Mighty Mentors Program is our elementary school-based mentoring program that supports Site Words and fact fluency for students in grades kindergarten and 3. Other volunteers and mentors support building initiatives for grades Pre-K – 12.
All volunteers must participate in our district training. The district training process ensures that all required paperwork is in place, training has occurred, and the individual desiring to volunteer has a clear background check in order to work with children. Schools and volunteers are notified once all required components are in place.
